Position Summary:

Develops recruitment strategies and sources to meet the organization current and future manpower needs. Oversees and administers programs and special projects and monitor cost and budgets. Manages and coordinates the interview and counsels internal and external candidates concerning qualifications and careers. Serves as a representative at agencies, universities and other functions. Support the organizations goals and objectives.


A. Education: Bachelors Degree in Nursing.

B. Knowledge: Work requires a general knowledge of interviewing techniques, career counseling skills, recruitment
strategies and fair employment legislation and regulations.

C. Skills: Work requires analytical ability necessary to assess needs, identify trends, interpret data and
evaluate job applicants to meet those needs. Requires the ability to work independently. Work
requires advanced communication and presentation skills, as well as verbal and quantitative skills to
compose correspondence, brochures and reports. Computer work processing and spreadsheet skills

D. Required Licensure,
Certification, Etc: Current RN license.

E. Work Experience:
At least five years of progressively more responsible related experience and involvement in the interviewing and hiring process at the unit level. Recruitment experience preferred.
